OPERATING
1. Tighten the needle head (3) and fix it with the fixing screw (4) using the Allen key (2).
2. Install the air nipple (6) into the thread of the air inlet.
3. Put a few drops of compressed air device oil into the device via the air inlet.
4. Make sure that the trigger lever (5) is in the non-depressed position.
5. Connect the device to the hose of the compressed air source.
6. Adjust the air regulation screw (7) so that you get an optimal result.
7. Place the needle unit at a 90° angle on the surface and start the device
.
8. Start the device by activating the trigger lever (5).
9. After a short processing time, the surface is free of rust, paint, etc.
Note
: Be careful when working on very thin or heavily rusted metal sheets, they can warp or be
pierced by the needles.
TROUBLESHOOTING (I
nsufficient power)
Probable Cause
Solution
Dirty or clogged air passages
Flush and lubricate tool, drain air tank and supply line
Insufficient air supply
Increase line pressure, make sure compressor matches
tool's air pressure and consumption needs
Air leakage
Use teflon tape at all fittings and joints.
Check tool for worn or damaged o-rings & seals.
Worn/damaged wear & tear parts
Replace as necessary
Tool matching
Be sure you are using a tool suited for the sanding
requirements of the job at hand.
