2. The water tank can be completely removed from the device, thus simplifying the filling of the tank with
water.
3. Fill the tank with a maximum of 200 ml of water using the measuring cup provided.
4. Put the container back in the appliance. The correct connection is also indicated by clicking on the safety
latches.
Note: It is recommended to use commercially available distilled water to prevent limescale formation. Using hot
water can shorten the heating time.(Do not use hot water)
Start up
The appliance may only be used vertically, please also take care not to tilt the appliance too much during
use, as this may lead to insufficient steam generation.
1. Place the appliance on a solid base. (eg table, counter…)
2. Please make sure that the mains voltage is compatible with the device before connecting. Only with dry
hands should you hold the device! Connect the appliance to the mains!
3. Switch on the appliance with the toggle switch on the top.
4. The appliance starts to heat up, which takes about 25 seconds.
5. You can then start the steaming operation.
6. To start steaming, pull the steaming trigger towards you if the slide on the trigger is pushed down by
steaming continuously without having to press the trigger.
Switching off
1. To stop steaming, release the trigger and push up the slide switch.
2. When not in use, switch off the appliance with the button on the top.
3. Unplug the appliance. Attention! Never pull it by the cable, but by the plug.
Tank Cleaning
This is necessary if you use non-distilled water during steaming. Using tap water can cause limescale in the
system, which can have a detrimental effect on the steam boiler’s performance in the long run.
1. Allow the appliance to cool down completely after switching it off.
2. Do not connect the device to the mains.
3. Disconnect the accessories attached to the device.
4. Fill the tank with distilled water and vinegar (1:1), wait about 5-10 minutes and rinse in a circular motion
until the deposited limescale dissolves. Do not use any chemicals for cleaning!
5. Empty the tank completely.
Check with your local water company for the hardness of the tap water available to you. The cleaning
processes must be concentrated in direct proportion to the hardness of the water. If the water is hard in your
area, please clean the appliance frequently so that you can use it much longer without any problems.
