7 Replacing
batteries
Your scale is fitted with a "change battery"
indicator. "Lo" appears on the display if the
battery is too weak, and the scale switches
off automatically.
The battery must be replaced as soon as pos-
sible in this case (1 x 3 V, CR2032 lithium bat-
tery), otherwise there is a possibility of false
weight results.

Remove the cover of the battery compartment on the under-
side of the unit. To do so, open the snap fastener.

Remove the battery by pressing the little hook outwards and
simultaneously taking out the battery.

Put in a new battery. Ensure that the plus sign is facing y-
ou.
First insert the battery under the notch. Press on the bat-
tery until it snaps into place.

Carefully close the cover of the battery compartment.

Cleaning and care of the unit
The unit should be cleaned occasionally.
Note:
The scale plate is mounted firmly on the
scale and cannot be removed.
Clean using a damp cloth, to which you
can apply a little detergent if necessary.
Do not use abrasive detergents and never
immerse the unit in water.
