Thank you for choosing the Visulight overhead projection appliance. This product fulfills all technical requirements and at the same time guarantees good quality and safety.
Please read the following manual and keep it for further reference. This ensures using the appliance in an optimal way.
Application and proper use:
With the help of Visulight overhead projectors you can display different sorts of projector sheets on the projection screen.
1. Important safeguards
WARNING!
For optimum performance and to avoid mistakes we kindly ask you to follow these operating instructions carefully.
This product is anticipated for children above 8 years old but it can also be used by people who have sensory and mental disabilities, provided that they are supervised by another
person. Such people ought to be aware that improper usage is dangerous. Children mustn’t play with the equipment. Cleaning and conservation should only be performed under the
supervision of an adult.
1.1
The overhead projector should only be used indoors. Do not expose the overhead projector to dripping and splashing water. Do not place objects filled with liquids on the
overhead projector.
1.2
Do not leave the overhead projector unattended especially when small children are near. Do not touch special parts of the overhead projector during operating process
such as lens, lighting system, light bulb or mirror. Please, do not look directly into the stream of light.
1.3
Open the projection mirror before turning the overhead projector on, otherwise it can lead to overheating.
1.4
Do not close the projector head while the overhead projector is in use or when it is not yet switched off.
1.5
Please take care of appropriate ventilation. The ventilation openings should not be blocked during operating.
1.6
Do not switch on the projector when the cord or the appliance itself has been damaged by dampness or downfall. Please contact a qualified service technician in this case.
1.7
Repair and maintenance can only be carried out by qualified service technicians.
1.8
When displacing the power cable, pay attention that nobody stumbles over it.
1.9
The Visulight overhead projector has got a special carrying handle. Do not use the projection arm to carry it.
1.10
Only use special extension cords that at least have the same cross section as the original power cord and which is designed for the same performance. Using extension
cords with a lower cross section can lead to overheating.
1.11
Switch off the overhead projector whenever not in use. Before clearing the appliance, first switch it off, disconnect it from the power supply and wait at least thirty minutes,
so that the appliance can cool off.
1.12
Danger to life
Electrical shock can cause serious health problems. Please disconnect the appliance from the power supply
before you open the housing.
1.13 Danger
Plug socket and cables can be damaged. Connect cord and power socket without force.
1.14
If the power cord is damaged, it can only be repaired by the supplier, qualified service technician or an authorized person to prevent an electrical short circuit.
