14 Fasten the 15mm Rapid Lock on to the L Bracket, then pull wire taut and cut the wire approximately halfway
along the 15mm Rapid Lock as below picture demonstrates. Then repeat step 4 and step 5 to finish installing
the bottom Rapid Lock. With top and bottom Rapid Locks in place make final tension adjustments by tightening
either top or bottom nut
NOTE:
If Deck hinges are used, first fasten the 15mm Rapid Lock onto Deck hinge then repeat step 4 and step 5 to
assemble top Rapid Lock. The wire will be cut approximately halfway along the 30mm Rapid Lock.
14. Insert crank handle into eyelet and wind your awning down. For motorised awnings please program the limits.

If you’re using lockdown latches position saddles where required and attach to bottom fixing point
refer to
picture below See below if the awning has a valance
If you order a valance you will need to do your own fabric cut out for the bottom rail saddle position onsite
1.
Mark the bottom of the valance where the saddle is to be positioned (in line with the bottom fixing point).
2.
Mark both the left and right saddle positions.
3.
Remove the bottom rail end caps.
4.
Slide the valance out of the bottom rail past the marked position.
5.
With a sharp pair of scissors make a cut out for the saddle to sit in (See picture 1 below)
6. Slide the valance and saddle back into the bottom rail (See picture 2 & 3 below)
7. Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 for the second saddle.
