The pool may constitute a serious danger for your
children. Drowning can happen very quickly. Children
near a pool require constant supervision and active
surveillance, even if they know how to swim.
This fence is not a substitute for common sense or
personal responsibility. It is also not intended to be a
substitute for supervision by responsible adults, which
remains the key factor in protecting young children. The
means of access must be systematically closed in the
event of even temporary absence from the home.
Take all possible measures to prevent access to the pool
by young children until the barrier or access means has
been repaired when a malfunction has been observed or
when dismantling the barrier, preventing the pool from
being secured.
The presence of a parent and/or responsible adult is
essential when the pool is open.
Learn first aid.
Memorise the emergency service numbers and display
them near the pool:
Fire brigade:
Ambulance:
Poison control centre:
Regularly check that the
closing system
is working.
