operAtion   -  general

The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not

for professional use.

1. On-/Off switch with pilot light

2. Infinitely adjustable temperature knob

3. Pilot lights ready for use

(upper- and lower heat)

4. Lid

5. Handle

7. Cable and plug

operAtion   -  before first use

1. Remove the packaging.

2.  Clean the baking plates to remove any residues that may be left from the manufacturing process (see

“Cleaning and maintenance”). Dry them thoroughly.

3.  Put the plug into the wall socket and allow the waffle maker to heat up. This will take about 5 minutes;

allowing it to heat will remove any packaging odour from the appliance.

 •

The appliance may emit a little smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch it on for the first

time. This is normal, and will soon stop. Make sure the appliance has sufficient ventilation.

Keep house birds away from the appliance when it is in use. Fumes released from the non-stick

coating when the baking plates are hot may be harmful to birds.

operAtion  -  use of pizza oven

1. Insert the plug (6) into the wall socket and switch on the oven with the On/Off switch (1).

2. Open the lid (4) with the handle (5).

3. Clean the oven (see chapter Cleaning).

4. Close the lid.

5.  Turn the temperature knob (2) to the desired position. Both READY-lights (3) for top and bottom heating

elements will be switched on.

6. After warming up (approx. 5 minutes), the READY-lights will switch off and the oven is ready to use.

Please note that while using the appliance the READY-lights turn on and off occasionally. This is normal

and gives an indication that the automatic thermostat keeps the oven to the set temperature.

Please note that you can also use the oven to prepare meals. The preparation times depend on the type

of food and the quantity. Preferably use a lower temperature setting than with baking of pizzas.

7. Open the lid.

8. Place the pizza or other food in the oven.

9. Close the lid.

Bake fresh pizza around 5-9 minutes depending on your own preference.

Bake frozen pizzas around 7-12 minutes depending on your own preference.

10.  Remove the pizza or other food from the oven when it is ready.

cleAning And MAintenAnce

1. Switch off the appliance (control light switches off).

2. Take the plug out of the socket and allow the appliance and pizza stone to cool.

no moisture gets into the appliance.

 •

Never immerse the appliance, the plug or the cable in water. Never put the appliance in a dishwasher.
