Support
This
setting
controls
the
Trusted
Platform
Module
(TPM)
designed
by
the
Trusted
Computing
Group
(TCG).
TPMs
are
special
‐
purpose
integrated
circuits
(ICs)
built
into
a
variety
of
platforms
to
enable
strong
user
authentication
and
machine
attestation
‐‐
essential
to
prevent
inappropriate
access
to
confidential
and
sensitive
information
and
to
protect
against
compromised
networks.
TPM
State
This
setting
indicates
the
TPM
state.
Pending
TPM
Operation
This
function
is
used
to
select
a
TPM
command
to
be
issued
during
the
next
boot.

This
menu
shows
the
CPU
information.
Read
only.
Limit
CPUID
Maximum
It
is
designed
to
limit
the
listed
speed
of
the
processor
to
older
operating
systems.
Execute
Disable
Bit
It
can
prevent
certain
classes
of
malicious
“buffer
overflow”
attacks
where
worms
can
try
to
execute
code
to
damage
your
system.
It
is
recommended
you
keep
this
enabled
always.
