2.2 Service check
BestLift L

must
be
checked
at
least
once
a
year
and
according
to
the
following
guide.
The
informa
ti
on
in
this
manual
is
for
guidance
only
and
if
in
any
doubt
please
contact
your
dealer
or
Bestcare.
The
check
is
carried
out
according
to
the
guide
lines
formulated
in
EN/IS
O
10535.
All
func
ti
ons
are
tested
and
sp
ecial
a
tt
en
tion is
given
to
emergency
func
ti
on
s, w
hich
must
be
tested
several
ti
mes.
Remove
the
hand
control
a
ft
er
which
the
func
ti
ons
o
n
the
side
of
the
BestLift L
una
must
not
operate.
Check
all
wire
connec
ti
ons
for
signs
of
break
age
–
loose
connec
ti
ons.
Charge
func
tio
ns
is
tested.
Contacts
are
cleaned.
The
hoist
and
the
spreader
bar
suspension
is
checked
by
tes
ti
n
g,
and
visual
inspec
tio
n.
The
hoist
will
not
operate
if
the
spreader
bar
or
hoist
are
not
correctly
mounted
in
posi
tio
n.
Li
ft
ing
hook
must
move
and
close
easily
and
must
also
audibly
click
when
locking.
Check
that
the
holding
pin
is
in
place
(a).
Check
for
an
y
abnormal
sounds
up/down,
with
and
without
load.
The
hoist
is
loaded
to
a
test
load
of
275
kg/606LB
(ensure
that
the
track
is
approved
to
this
weight).
Li
ft
the
load
approx.
5cm
and
check
the
hoist
and
track
for
an
y
faults
o
r
deforma
ti
ons.
Move
the
hoist
over
the
whole
of
the
track
system
(see
guide
for
track
systems).
Raise
t
he
load
approx
.
50cm,
leave
the
load
in
place
and
check
that
the
hoist
does
not
lower
the
load
test
involunt
arily.
Open
the
hoist
(see
replacement
guide).
Check
all
wire
connec
ti
ons
and
ba
tt
eries
for
any
defects.
Distribute
grease
on
the
cog
wheels.
The
service
s
ti
cker
is
replaced
from
the
inside
with
a
n
ew
one
with
the
service
date
and
technicians
ini
tial
s.
Check
the
li
ft
ing
strap
for
wear
and
tear
over
the
w
hole
length
.
S
ti
tches
must
be
intact.
If
strap
is
defec
tiv
e
/
worn,
then
white
inner
threads
will
be
visible
and
st
rap m
ust
be
replaced.
