Important advice

·

Remember – never seat the child in a rearward-facing child seat in the front

of the car with an airbag activated on the passenger side.

·

Children under 140 cm in height must not sit forward-facing in the front of

cars with airbag on the passenger side.

·

A properly mounted BeSafe iZi Combi has no safety value unless your child

is restrained by the child seat’s 5-point belt.

·

Minimise slack on both the seat belt and the child seat’s 5-point belt. Check

and retighten belts regularly.

·

The child seat belts must be without slack and not twisted. They must also

be protected against damage.

·

Child seats and belts must not get damaged by moving parts inside the car

or by getting trapped in the door.

·

Never make changes to the seat and belts, as this could put your child at risk.

·

After any accident, the child seat must be thrown away and replaced.

·

Also, let other car occupants know how to release the child from the seat in

the event of an accident.

·

Never leave your child alone in the car, regardless of whether it is in a child

seat or not.

·

Make sure the user instructions follow the child seat.

·

Use of non-original accessories or spare parts will invalidate the guarantee

and product liability.

·

BeSafe iZi Combi must not be used without textile cover, and if the latter

needs replacement, only original covers must be used.

·

Any loose objects in the car saloon must be secured or removed to prevent

them causing injury in the case of violent braking or an accident.

Make sure all passengers are securely restrained.
