NOTE FOR SUPER DEFROST:
SUPER DEFROST provides just enough defrosting that the foods can be used in recipes or for
cooking. There will be some ice crystals remaining.
SUPER DEFROST
SUPER DEFROST rapidly defrosts specific foods and weights
found in the SUPER DEFROST Chart below.
• Suppose you want to defrost 1.0 pound boneless poultry.
PROCEDURE

DEFROST
DEFROST automatically defrosts all the foods found in the SUPER DEFROST and AUTO DEFROST CHARTS. Numbers 1-3 are for
SUPER DEFROST that defrosts specific foods and weights very rapidly. For these choices, it is not necessary to enter weight.
MENU OPTIONS
NOTE:
• To defrost other foods above or below the weights allowed
on the SUPER DEFROST and AUTO DEFROST CHARTS,
use time and 30% power. See MANUAL DEFROST on page
9.
• Any setting in the DEFROST can be programmed with
MORE or LESS TIME ADJUSTMENT. Touch the
POWER
LEVEL
pad once or twice before touching

pad when the HELP indicator is lighted
in the display for a helpful hint.
• If you attempt to enter more or less than the amount as
indicated in the AUTO DEFROST chart, an error message
will appear in the display.
AUTO DEFROST
• Suppose you want to defrost a 2.0 pound steak, using
AUTO DEFROST.
