6.3 Controlling the speed
Frame model
In the three BSR modes, you can specify the required stitch length in the settings. Using the BSR sensors in
the stitch plate, the machine measures the speed at which you are moving the the machine, and adjusts the
speed of the needle such that stitches of the required length are sewn.
In manual mode, you can specify in the settings the maximum speed at which the needle will move. With the
movement of the machine you control the stitch length. Additionally you can program 2 buttons on the
handles to increase or decrease the speed of the needle. (see page 26)
Sit down model

the stitch plate, the machine measures the speed at which you are moving the fabric, and adjusts the speed
of the needle such that stitches of the required length are sewn.
In manual mode, you can specify in the settings the maximum speed at which the needle will move if you
press the foot control all the way down.
