Using the single stitch/securing function with the handles
The «Single stitch/securing» funciton combines the following functions:
• Pull the bobbin thread upward with a single stitch.
• Sew a programmed number of securing stitches.
Prerequisite:
•
A button of the handles is programmed with «Single stitch/securing». (see page 26)
> To pull the bobbin thread up with a single stitch, briefly press down the button programmed with the
function.
> To sew the programmed number of securing stitches, press down the button programmed with the
function until the programmed securing stitches have been stitched.

Changing the presser foot
> Raise the needle.
> Raise the presser foot.
> Switch the machine off.
> Raise the clamping lever.
> Pull the presser foot away in a downward direction.
> Insert a new presser foot into the bracket from below.
> Press the clamping lever down.
