6.1 Embroidering via the button «Start/Stop»
In case of a power cut the embroidery process is interrupted. After the restart the machine goes to the
position which was embroidered last.
> Push the button «Start/Stop» to start the embroidery machine.
– All parts of the motif being in the current color are embroidered.
– The embroidery machine stops automatically at the end.
– Both threads are cut automatically.
– The embroidery machine switches to the next color automatically.
> Change the upper thread.
> Push the button «Start/Stop» to embroider the new color.
–
After having completed the embroidery motif, the machine stops automatically and the threads are
cut automatically.
> Touch the icon «Confirm» to finish the embroidery motif.

6.2 Adjusting the upper thread tension
Basic settings are applied automatically when an embroidery motif or program is selected.
When using different types of embroidery threads, the optimal tension may vary. Therefore it may be
necessary to adjust the upper thread tension according to the embroidery project as well as the desired
embroidery motif individually.
The higher the upper thread tension, the tighter the upper thread which means that the bobbin thread is
pulled up to the top of the fabric. When the upper thread tension is low, the upper thread is less tightened
which means that the bobbin thread is pulled up less.
Alteration of the upper thread tension affect the currently embroidery motif. Permanent alterations of the
upper thread tension can be made in the Setup Program.
