On the opposite side there is a DIP switch on a circuit board.
The setting of the DIP switch must match with the width of
the ceiling lift hood.

Make sure that the DIP switch is correctly set for the hood
width.
In order to access the DIP switch:
☞
Fold the faceplate down.
☞
Unscrew the trim panel on the side of the fan box.
☞
Use a size 2.5 Allen key to unscrew the screws in the side
part.
☞
Push the side part upwards.
☞
Pull the side part off to the side.
Checking the connection:
☞
Ensure that the extractor hood is switched off.
☞
Plug the mains plug into the socket.
If the device is not connected correctly, five beeps will sound.
☞
Correct the connection of the wires to terminals 1 and 2.
If the device is connected correctly, three will beeps sound.
☞
Make sure that the device can be disconnected on all
poles from the electricity supply after installation.
☞
Ensure that the extractor hood is reinstalled properly
(e.g. by attaching the side part and fitting the cover).

Check and carry out commissioning

ATTENTION!
Risk of disruptions due to moisture in the device!
If the device is moved from a cold environment into a hot one,
condensation may form inside.
☞
Wait about 2-3 hours before bringing the device into
service.
☞
Ensure that air outlets on the ceiling lift hood are not
closed or covered.
☞
Ensure that the extractor hood is configured correctly.
☞
Check that the ceiling lift hood is functioning correctly.
