Fault rectification
Possible faults are described below:

Remedy.
The extractor hood does not react to inputs
on the remote control.
y
The remote control is not pointing to
the extractor hood.
☞
Point the remote control at the
extractor hood.
y
The distance between the remote
control and extractor hood is too
great.
☞
Move closer to the extractor hood
with the remote control.
y
The remote control’s battery is empty.
☞
Charge the battery.

The remote control is soiled.

Clean the remote control.

The power supply is switched off.
☞
Check whether the all-pole mains
switch is switched on.
☞
Switch the mains switch on.

The software of the extractor hood
then requires a restart.
☞
Interrupt the power supply for
approx. 10 seconds.
The remote control sends signals
autonomously.
y
Voltage fluctuations in the mains
whilst charging the rechargeable
battery.
☞
Charge the battery only as long as
necessary.
☞
Stop the charge process as
soon as the LED illuminates
continuously.
After a power interruption, the “Raise”
button flashes.
y
The power supply dropped out whilst
the drive motor was in operation. The
ceiling lift hood is in calibration mode
and requires a reference run.
☞
Press the “Raise” button.
The device moves fully upwards once
again and then into the set top end
position.
The “Raise” and “Lower” buttons flash but
the ceiling lift hood does not move.

The safety switch-off took place
because a problem was detected
(e.g. faulty winding or tearing of a
suspension rope).
☞

Do not use the device if damaged. The
lithium-ion battery in the device poses a
rise of fire or explosion.
