The European directive 2011/65/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must
not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream.
Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and
recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and
the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds
you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately
collected.
Cleaning and maintenance
To always ensure optimal shaving, the appliance must be cleaned regularly.
After each use, it’s preferable to wash the shaver head under warm running water.
Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance is unplugged from wall socket, and that
the USB cable is not inserted.
Open the shaver head by gently lifting each blade up, using the slots found on the
sides of the blades.
Let the appliance dry thoroughly. Fig. B
Warning: do not use cloth or paper towels to clean the appliance, as these
may damage the blades.
As an alternative to washing, it’s possible to use the cleaning brush provided with the
appliance to remove the shaving residues from the shaver head.
When done cleaning, store the appliance inside its box, away from dirt, dust and
humidity.
It’s advisable to replace the shaver head once a year, based on the usage frequency.
Replace the shaver head only with original spare parts: contact local retailer for pur-
chase.
To replace the shaver head, remove it from the appliance by pulling it upwards; insert
the new shaver head inside the hole on the appliance, by pressing downwards until
firmly fixed (a click will be heard when the shaver head is correctly inserted). Fig. C.
