Before you install your antenna, select the most available open site away from electric power lines  

 

and telephone lines. To get the maximum performance from your antenna, it must be installed at   

 

least 10.67m above the ground. 

 

This antenna has a long element and is heavy to carry or install by single person. Therefore you 
must find assistance before installation. Doing so will prevent you from any severe injuries or 
death. 

 

Note & Remarks on handling and driving

 

 

 

Never touch or adjust the antenna while transmitting, which may cause severe injuries including 
burn. 

 

When lightning is observed, stop operating the antenna. Don’t touch coaxial cable. 

 

Please make sure tight fastening of connectors and screws, etc. Loosening and falling off may 
lead to personal injury and property damage.  

 

Adjust antenna correctly. Irregular VSWR will lead to heat-up, bread-down or power down of the 
antenna. 

 

Note for Operation 

 

 

This antenna is designed for amateur radio and Broad Band receipt operator. Do not use other 
than for the purpose of the antenna. 

 

Use this antenna within the standard and specifications described in this manual. Failure to this 
may cause heat up and break down of the unit. 

 

Maintenance 

 

 

If mal-function occurred, stop operation and try to find the reason. If it is not settled, please contact 
the store/shop where you purchased the antenna. 

 

Before the practical use while transmitting, check the VSWR. Make sure it is less than 1.5 at your 
operating frequency. 

 

Routinely check and confirm tight fastening of each screws, clamps, etc.
