1. CONTROL UNIT FAILS TO OPERATE; GENERAL INSPECTION

If the manually operated switch does not work and the

controls do not beep, you need to check the following:

•  Is the manual control switch in the right socket

(see page 30)?

•  Is the safety sensor plugged in?

•  Is the power cable properly connected to the control unit?

•  Is the power plug properly connected to the power socket?

•  Does the socket provide power, and as it turned on?

If the problem persists, contact your service centre.

2. CONTROL UNIT DOES NOT OPERATE,

AN ACOUSTIC SIGNAL IS GENERATED (BEEP)

The control unit must first be reset.

(see page 8, Reset control unit).

•  The turn-on period for the controls has been exceeded, i.e.,

the mounting has been operated for longer than two minutes.

•  The control unit will remain inactive for 18 minutes.

Retry after this time has expired.

•  Check the plug-in connections.

•  In case of a power outage during operation the control unit

must be reset (see page 8, Reset control unit).

Contact your service centre if the control unit still fails

to operate properly.

3. LIFT MECHANISM DROPS DOWN

The lift mechanism stops during operation and drops down

a few mm in the opposite direction. The protection against

uncontrolled movement has been activated. Possible reasons:

•  Object in the path of travel

•  Monitor was moved

•  Cable too short, safety sensor function

The sensor is only activated one second after

every operation.

Wait for 5 seconds after the safety sensor has been

activated and until movement of lift mechanism stops.

4. THE COLUMN IS STUCK IN EXTENDED POSITION

Due to maintenance reasons the column remains in an exten-

ded position after 10,000 lifts. Please contact your service

centre.

5. THE MONITOR DOES NOT COME OUT COMPLETELY

The table is clamped. Follow the following procedure.

1.

Loosen the attachment screws of the lift column.

2.

Move the lift into top position.

3.

Retighten the attachment screws.
