Accurately  clean  cutters  hubs  and  cutters  supporting  shaft  applying  a  small  quantity  of

grease in order to make assembly and future removal easier.

Fit  the  two  cutters  blades  with  the  dust  protection  ring  on  the  cutters  supporting  shaft,

then  insert  cutters blades in second and third position along the length of 90 cm or 120
cm.

Pay  attention  to  cutters  blades  cutting  edge  direction,  as  there  is  a  right  side  and  a  left

side for any position.

Insert side disks in the hexagonal hole and block the cutters using the  through pin (with a

length variable according to the cutters width) inserting on the other side the washer and screwing the nut M14. The cutters tie
pin must always be introduced from the right side (right side from driving position), in order to avoid fastening nut unscrewing
during machine running. See PICT. 2

Fit the rear spur already connected with the arm, on the rear part of cutters crankcase support, using the pin and the special

spring.

Fit the handlebar on the support with the full-side adjustment (rack, wheel system) is fitted with a single pin on the hand lever.

Fit transmission rod on the lever coming out from left side of transmission, blocking it with the rapid fastening device pre-fitted

on the lever and relative split pin.

In the version with electric start the battery must be made operative.

STEPS TO FILL AND CHARGE THE BATTERY (for versions with electric start engine)

IMPORTANT: in the battery of a packed brand-new machine there isn’t any liquid

. To make the battery functional you

have to add the liquid furnished together with the battery.

1)

Remove the sheet cover (Picture 13, ref.” N”) by unscrewing the fin nuts Picture 13, ref. “R”.

2)

Remove the 6 caps from the battery or remove the rubber strip covering the holes.

3)

Take the bottle containing the liquid (Picture 14) and place it on the holes of the battery in order to empty its content into the battery.

4)

Charge the battery by means of a charger for at least 6 hours at 12 volt tension after having disconnected the red cable from the +
pole of the battery, Picture 15, ref. “U”, leaving the holes open.

5)

Disconnect the charger and put again the 6 caps or the rubber strip covering the holes.

6)

Reconnect the red cable Picture 15, ref. “U” to the + pole of the battery.

7)

Replace the sheet cover Picture 13, ref. “N” and fix it with the fin nuts.

TECHNICAL FEATURES OF THE BATTERY: MODEL 12 V 18°A h

IMPORTANT:  Before  using  the  power-hoe,  remove  the  plastic  cap  over  the  gearbox
breather cap, which has been fitted to prevent oil from leaking during machine packing.
