Complaints, symptoms or diseases must be clarified by a physi-
cian prior to the use of BEMER application.
•
Prescribed medications may only be altered after consulting
the treating physician.
•
In users who regularly take blood thinning or clotting inhibitor
medications, close monitoring of the clotting factors by the
treating physician is strongly recommended before starting
BEMER application. BEMER application may intensify or weaken
the effect of such drugs. As an exception to this general recom-
mendation, anticoagulant therapy with Rivaroxaban (Xarelto) is
a contraindication. Please refer to the contraindications (see
Page 9).
•
In case of questions regarding BEMER application, the treating
physician is advised to contact BEMER medical support.
Precautions
•
In general, the use of BEMER application on users with active
implants must be discussed with the treating physician. The
electromagnetic fields used in BEMER products cannot cause
faults in pacemakers or defibrillators, provided that such prod-
ucts comply with applicable standards and are used in accor-
dance with the respective instructions for use. For safety reasons,
users with active implants should consult their treating physician
before using BEMER technology.
•
BEMER application is an important complementary option
and is not intended to replace other medical treatments.
•
Some patients may experience skin irritation or hypersensitivity
due to the electromagnetic stimulation.
•
BEMER devices should be kept out of the reach of children.
•
Caution should be used in the presence of the following:
a.
When there is a tendency to hemorrhage following
acute trauma or fracture
b.
Following recent surgical procedures where muscle
contraction may disrupt the healing process
c.
Over the menstruating or pregnant uterus
d.
Over areas of the skin lacking normal sensatio
e.
Cardiac rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation
