7.3 BASIC Mode Setup
For the non-currency specific BASIC Mode, it is possible to set detection sensitivity values for the specific detection
parameters. In this way it is possible to set up BASIC Mode for specific tasks.
1.
Press
[SETTINGS]
to enter the Settings Menu.

to highlight the BASIC Mode Setup
option.

Press
[START/ENTER]
to enter the BASIC Mode Setup Menu.

to highlight the parameter you want to
adjust.

Toggle
[MODE]
to adjust the parameter value you need:

Size (Short Edge)
0 - 8
Check the short edge size of the note.
Size (Long Edge)
0 - 8
Check the long edge size of the note.
UV
0 - 8
Check UV level of the note.
MG
0 - 8
Check magnetism level of the note.
Double Feeding
0 - 8
Check for double note feeding.
Chained
0 - 1
Check for overlapping (chained) notes.
Value "0" means parameter is switched off.
Value "1" is the lowest sensitivity level.
Value "8" is the highest sensitivity level.
6.
Press
[START/ENTER]
to confirm the selection and press
[CLEAR]
to return to the Main Menu.
Please note: When all parameters are set to "0", the Main Menu CF indicator will show "OFF". When one or more
parameters are set to a value, the Main Menu CF indicator will show "ON".
