IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
To reduce the risk of personal injury or property damage, when using electrical
appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles or knobs.
3.
Never switch on the appliance without oil inside its frying pot, or the appliance may
over-heat.
4.
Do not add oil beyond 40.5 oz (1.2 litres) into the frying pot while using the deep fryer.
Using too much oil will cause oil to splash outside of the fryer potentially causing injury,
while using too little oil will affect the performance of the fryer.
5.
To protect against fire, electric shock or injury to person, do not immerse cord, plug,
or the body of the appliance in water or other liquid.
6.
Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is in use or when is hot.
Do not let children use the appliance.
7.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on
or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
8.
Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect,
turn any control to “OFF”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
9.
The appliance has a magnetic outlet power cord. Never drop the power cord on
the ground or strike it, it will damage it.
10. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Bring it to a qualified technician
for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
11. The use of any accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may result in fire, electric shock or injury to person.
12. Make sure that the handles are properly assembled to the basket and locked into place.

13. Do not use outdoors.
14. Do not let cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
15. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven, on or close
to flammable material.
16. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other
hot liquids. Allow appliance to cool for 20-25 min. before moving.
17. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
