Examine the placards, decals, and markings. Make sure
you can read them, they are applied correctly, and they agree
with the applicable configuration of your helicopter.

ANY CRACK, CORROSION, OR LOOSE OR
SHEARED RIVET IS CAUSE FOR IMMEDIATE
GROUNDING OF THE HELICOPTER UNTIL THE
PROBLEM IS CORRECTED.

Examine the aft fuselage structure for condition and
security. Examine the components as follows:
a.
Engine upper cowling and doors.
b.
Upper longeron.
c.
All engine mounts and sway bar to airframe attachment
points.
