Analog Channel
This feature can restrict the channel if it is already in use you will be unable to transmit. There
are three options available: off, carrier, CTCSS/CDCSS, if choose Off, whenever press PTT key to
transmit directly; If choose carrier, you will be unable to transmit on the channel if the channel is
being used by others; If choose CTCSS/CDCSS, you will be unable to transmit on the channel if it
is already in use and the CTCSS/CDCSS code in use. If the channel is busy, press PTT key a
warning tone will sound.
CTCSS/CDCSS
On analog channel and compatible channel (digital and analog channel), you can set unique
CTCSS/CDCSS to guarantee the privacy of your communication, on digital compatible analog
channel or analog compatible digital channel, is must attach to CTCSS/CDCSS. If CTCSS/CDCSS
has been set on the current channel, CTCSS/CDCSS match is required for the radio to receive an
incoming signal.
●RX CTCSS/CDCSS Type:
Only when receiver receives a call containing matching decode, you can hear the call; you can
select tone type as: CTCSS, CDCSS or Reverse CDCSS.
●TX CTCSS/CDCSS Type:
Signal that you transmit will only be heard by parties whose CTCSS/CDCSS signaling
matches your transceiver; you can select tone type as: CTCSS, CDCSS or Reverse CDCSS.
