Pumping Station Float Valve Seal Replacement Kit #105884
Positioning the Float Valve for Operation
In order for the Float-Valve Assembly to work correctly, the Float must be centered (left-to-right)
as shown below.
To do so, follow the steps below.
1) Loosen the Lock Nut shown below and rotate the Float Arm until it is properly centered.
2) Tighten the Lock Nut.
General
The valve should be inspected at regular intervals to ensure that it works freely and has not been
clogged by residue from the solution in the tank, especially if it has not been used on a regular
basis.
Minor leakage is acceptable between the Stem and Bonnet when the valve is operating but not
when the valve is closed. If such leakage becomes unacceptable, the Disc and Teflon™ Cup
should be replaced.
