In the event that HomeWhiz function cannot be turned on, the function frame on the
button will be off. Wireless settings being Off or the washing machine's door being open
are examples for such cases.
Once you activate this function on the washing machine, it will remain enabled apart from
certain conditions and allow you to control your washing machine remotely via the internet
regardless of whether the washing machine is switched on or off and independently from
location.
In certain cases, it deactivates itself for safety reasons:
• When your washing machine undergoes a power interruption
• When the door of the washing machine is opened
• When On/Off button on the control panel is pressed
4.3.16.5 Troubleshooting
Do the followings if you have a problem with controlling or connection. Observe whether
the problem persists or not after the action you have performed. Do the following if the
problem is not resolved.
• Check whether your smart device is connected to the relevant home network.
• Restart the product application.
• Proceed to the settings menu on the product and switch Wireless Connection: Off to
Wireless Connection: On and reconnect via the application.
• If the connection cannot be established with the above processes, repeat the initial
set-up settings on the washing machine.
If the problem persists, consult an Authorised Service Agent.
4.3.17 Drum Illumination
Drum illumination lamp of your machine will light up during programme selection. The
light will turn off when you start the programme. If no programme is started or no key is
pressed within 10 minutes during programme selection process, the drum illumination
lamp will turn off.
Drum illumination lamp of your machine will light up after the programme is completed. It
will go off when you press the On/Off button. The drum illumination lamp will turn off if
you do not press any button within 10 minutes after the programme has ended.
