Instructions for use

Electrical requirements

• Do not attempt to sit or stand on the device, it is 

not intended for this purpose. You could injure 

yourself or damage the unit.

• Make sure that the power cable is not trapped 

under the device during and after moving it as 

this could damage the cable.

• Make sure that children do not play with the 

appliance and do not touch the controls.

Before connecting the device to the wall socket, 

check that the voltage and frequency indicated on 

the rating plate inside the device correspond to your 

power supply. We recommend connecting this 

device to the mains through a socket equipped with 

a switch and a fuse and placed in such a way as to be 

easily accessible.

Warning ! This device must be connected to a 

ground terminal.

Repairs to electrical equipment are reserved 

exclusively for a qualified technician. Improper 

repairs carried out by an unqualified person may 

cause risks, the consequences of which may be 

critical for the user of the device.

WARNING !

This device works with R600a, a gas which contributes to 

the protection of the environment but which is 

flammable. During transportation and installation of the 

product, be careful not to damage the refrigerant 

system. If the refrigerant system is damaged and a gas 

leak occurs, keep the appliance away from sources of 

naked flames and ventilate the room well.

Do not use mechanical tools or 

other means to speed up the defrosting process 

other than those recommended by the 

manufacturer.

Do not operate electrical appliances 

inside the food storage compartments of the 

appliance, unless recommended by the 

manufacturer.

 WARNING -

If the supply cord is 

damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, 

its authorized agents or any other qualified agent in 

order to protect against any danger.

Installation instructions

1. Do not install your appliance in a room where the 

temperature may drop below -15°C (5 degrees F) at 

night and/or particularly in winter.

2. Do not place the device near stoves, radiators or 

in direct sunlight, as this will cause extra strain on 

the device's functions. If installed next to a heat 

source or freezer, observe the following minimum 

side clearances:

3. Make sure you leave enough space around the 

device for air to circulate freely

(figure 2)

• Place the ventilation grille on the back of your 
refrigerator to establish the necessary distance 
between the refrigerator and the wall

(figure 3).

4. The device should be placed on a smooth surface. 

The two front feet can be adjusted if necessary. To 

ensure that your machine is level, adjust the two 

front feet by turning clockwise or counterclockwise 

until the machine is level. Proper foot adjustment 

prevents excessive vibration and noise

(figure 4)

5. Refer to the “Cleaning and Maintenance” section 

to prepare your appliance for use.

1. Unit should be transported in an upright position 

only. The packaging provided must remain intact 

during transport.

2. If the device has been laid down during transport, 

it should not be put into operation for at least 4 

hours to allow the system to stabilize. 3. Failure to 

follow the above instructions could damage the 

device and the manufacturer cannot be held liable.

4. The device must be protected against rain, 

humidity and other atmospheric conditions.

Important !

• When cleaning/moving the unit, be careful not to 

touch the metal condenser cables on the back of the 

unit, as this may cause injury to fingers and hands.

The timer is a device used for automatic defrosting. 

After a while, it activates the heaters which cause 

your refrigerator to defrost.
