To ensure the operational reliability and the protection of the dryer, a series of pressure switches are installed in the
gas cycle.
P
B
:
Low-pressure switch on the suction side of the compressor, which is only activated when the pressure drops
below the predetermined value. The values are reset automatically as soon as the nominal conditions are re-
established.
Adjusted pressure:
R 404 A
Stop 1,0 bar(g) – Start 5,0 bar(g)
P
A
:
High-pressure switch on the pressure side of the compressor, which is activated when the pressure exceeds
the predetermined value. Reset takes place manually via a button on the high-pressure controller.
Adjusted pressure:
R 404 A
Stop 32 bar(g) – manual reset
P
V
:
Fan pressure switch which is installed on the pressure side of the refrigerating compressor. It keeps the con-
densation temperature and pressure constantly in the range of the preadjusted limit values (air-cooled).
Adjusted pressure:
R 134.a
Start 11 bar(g) (47°C) - Stop 8 bar(g) (36°C) - Tolerance ± 1 bar
R 404 A
Start 20 bar(g) (45°C) - Stop 16 bar(g) (36°C) -Tolerance ± 1 bar

To ensure the operational reliability and the soundness of the dryer, a safety tem-
perature switch (T
S
) is installed at the refrigeration cycle. In the event that the
pressure gas temperature is too high, the sensor of the temperature switch will
stop the refrigerant compressor to prevent the pressure gas temperature getting
too high.
The temperature switch is reset manually, but only when the normal operating
conditions are reached again. Unscrew the cover (see pos. 1 in the illustration)
and press the reset button (see position 2 in the illustration).
T

- setting :
temperature 100 °C (+2 / -2 °K)
