Maintenance and Cleaning
Prior to maintenance, unplug the appliance or
turn the main switch off or loosen the fuse that
supplies the hood to turn it off. Clean your hood,
which is made of stainless steel, with cleaning
agents designed specially for this material.
•
Do not use metal rubbing materials (wire wool)
and abrasive materials (brushes, hard side of
the scouring pad etc.).
•
Dry off your hood with a lint-free cloth.
•
When sterilizers, products made with carbon
steel and other materials containing chloride
contact with stainless steel this may cause
black shadows, corrosion and permanent stains.
Aluminum filter
This filter is intended to retain the oil particles in
the air. You are recommended to clean your filter
every month under normal usage conditions.
First remove the aluminum filters for this process.
Wash the filters with liquid detergent and rinse
them with water and install them back after they
get dry. Aluminum filters may get discolored as
they are washed; this is normal and you don't need
to change your filter.
Note:
You can wash your aluminum filter in
dishwasher also.
Carbon filter (Use without
chimney)
This filter removes the cooking odors.
Warning
Before starting maintenance operations, always
turn off the power supply. Contact Customer
Services in case of a fault.
Maintenance of the aluminum
filter:
Use non-abrasive liquid detergent or stainless
steel cleaners.
