3.4.3.3 Connecting the KstW 200/KstWT 200 Kompakt Wärmeblock
• Connect the heating water circuit to the primary side of the heat exchanger.
• Join the secondary side of the heat exchanger to the pool water piping via a
PVC adhesive bond.
• The integral digital controller controls temperature and the circulation pump.
When used alone, the digital controller must be interlocked with the filter
pump; when used with a Behncke control system it must be interlocked with
the filter control.
Note:
The unit must be connected to the electricity supply by a qualified electrician in
accordance with applicable regulations. A residual current circuit breaker (RCCB,
0.03A) must be fitted on site. All metal parts must be included in the equipoten-
tial bonding.
See section 10 for electrical circuit diagrams.
4 Operation
In the countercurrent heat exchangers KstW 200/KstWT 200, heat is transferred
from the heating water circuit to the pool water circuit.
KstW 200/KstWT 200 Kompakt Wärmeblock:
The integral two-state digital controller controls the integral heating pump. Once
the set temperature is reached, the two-state controller switches the heating
pump off.
5 Commissioning
Have you read and understood these operating instructions, in particular
section 1 (Safety)? You must not commission the heat exchanger before you
have done so.
The heat exchanger may be damaged.
Do not climb on top of the heat exchanger.
The shut-off valves in both water circuits must be closed before any maintenan-
ce or cleaning is carried out.
• Bleed both water circuits.
