3.4.3
Connecting the heat exchanger
• Fit shut-off and drainage valves in the flow and return pipes if the heating cir-
cuit inside the frost-proof premises.
The heat exchanger may be damaged.
Ensure compliance with water quality and maximum pressure requirements.
The heat exchanger may be damaged.
When connecting to external circuits, care must be taken to ensure that no
pieces of metal are introduced into the heat exchanger.
The unit must be connected to the electricity supply by a qualified electrician.
Local regulations and VDE 0100 must be observed.
Isolate the installation from the electricity supply before carrying out
maintenance
The heat exchanger may be damaged by chemicals.
Disinfection units must be fitted downstream from the heat exchanger. If chemi-
cals (e.g. chlorine gas) are used, gases must be prevented from entering the heat
exchanger when the filter is not in operation.
3.4.3.1 Connecting the KstW 200/KstWT 200
• Connect the heating water circuit to the primary side of the heat exchanger.
• Join the secondary side of the heat exchanger to the pool water piping via a
PVC adhesive bond.
3.4.3.2
Connecting the KstW 200/KstWT 200 Kompakt Junior
• Connect the heating water circuit to the primary side of the heat exchanger.
• Join the secondary side of the heat exchanger to the pool water piping via a
PVC adhesive bond.
