SAFETY GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
•
1. The pilot must avoid overflying unprotected people.
•
2. I have to make a conclusive test of the range of my radio set, in accordance with the manufacturer's
recommendations before the first flight of the day and after any repair on a model.
•
3. The flying field must have one (or more) security line, beyond which flights take place. Only people
required to manage the flight (pilot, assistant) can cross this safety line. For airshows and demonstrations,
this line must always be materialized. A safety zone must be maintained between the flying area and
spectators. The flight over this safety zone is prohibited.
•
4. I only use my RC model with radio equipment using radio frequencies authorized by applicable
regulations in the country.
•
5. I do not use my RC model within 5 km of any declared site as dedicated to a RC activity without prior
agreement on the frequency used with the managers of the site.
•
6. Except for certain events during official competitions, takeoff and landing, no flying model should
evolve within 7.5 m of any person, except the pilot and his assistant placed on the safety line.
•
7. In any case, a pilot or another person may touch another model in flight, or while it is powered or
when the engine is running, except to prevent it hits someone. This does not apply to indoor flights.
•
8. The night flight involves the use of a lighting system that provides the driver a clear view of the
attitude of the model and its orientation.
•
9. The pilot of a radio-controlled model must have control of the model throughout the flight, keeping
a permanent visual contact with no other artifice that corrective eyeglasses prescribed for the pilot.
•
10. First Person View (FPV) flight can be practiced only in accordance with the rules (the responsible pilot
of the flight keeps the model in direct view throughout the flight, and the "FPV Pilot" has a transmitter
connected a dual control system to that of the responsible driver who has a command of transfer button).
