Handling and Operation
NOTES
•
Do not pour milk or other liquids into the water tank. Only ever use water to make
coffee!
•
Never over
fi
ll the permanent
fi
lter.
Time
As soon as the mains plug is plugged into a plug socket, the display lighting turns on and
the time display
12:00
starts
fl
ashing. The clock has a 24-hour time format.
1. Set the hours by pressing the
Std
(hrs) button (

).
2. Set the minutes by pressing the
Min
button (

).
Hold down the respective button to run through the hours / minutes quickly.
The time is saved until a new time is set or the device has been disconnected from
the power supply.
Filling the Water Tank
1. Open the lid (

2. Pour the quantity of water you want (min. 240 ml, max. 420 ml) into the water tank (

Pay attention to the

ll-level indicator in the water tank (

)!

ll-level indicator is speci

ed in oz (ounces):
8 oz = approx. 240 ml (minimum
fi
ll level)
10 oz = approx. 300 ml
14 oz = approx. 420 ml (maximum
fi
ll level)
3. Close the lid.
Inserting the Filter
1. Open the lid (

2. If you have not already done so, insert the
fi
lter insert (

) into the
fi
lter compart-
ment
(

). When you do this, make sure that the handle
fi
ts in the recess which is
provided for it in the
fi
lter compartment (

).
3. Insert the permanent
fi
lter (

) into the
fi
lter insert.
4. Close the lid.
