Operating the dispensing tap
Touch mode
Press the lever (14) downwards. The

dispensing tap (13) opens. To close
the dispensing tap again, release the
lever.
Continuous operation
Push the lever (14) fully backwards. It
‹
locks in this position. The dispensing
tap (13) opens. To close the dispens-
ing tap again, push the lever forwards.
Switching off the appliance
To switch the appliance off, proceed as
follows:
Turn the rotary knob (8)anticlockwise
‹
until it stops at the OFF position. The
indicator light extinguishes.
Pull the plug out of the mains socket.
Serving suggestions
Tea is not just tea. Strictly speaking, tea is
only a water infusion of the tea plant ca-
mellia sinensis. This infusion can be black
or green tea. A distinction must be made
between this and tea-like products such as
the so-called herbal and fruit teas.
Therefore, brewing tea is not always just
brewing tea. In order to preserve valuable
ingredients and the taste, teas are brewed
with water at different temperatures and
allowed to infuse for different lengths of
time. For example, green tea is prefer-
ably brewed with water heated to 65° C.
In every case, the brewing instructions on
the packaging should be observed.
