Clean HEPA exhaust air filter
The HEPA exhaust air filter contains very
fine particles from the air blown out.
Check the HEPA exhaust air filter (26)
every time you empty the dust container,
at the latest, however, every three to six
months.
If you find dust during the check,
clean the HEPA exhaust air filter. Proceed
as follows:
Place the unit upright (see Fig. F1).
Turn the closure of the HEPA exhaust
air cover (21) clockwise. Use a coin,
for example, for the purpose (see Fig.
F2).
Lift off the cover (see Fig. F3).
Pull out the HEPA exhaust filter (26)
(see Fig. F4).
Clean the filter by beating out over a
rubbish bin. The filter can be flushed
with water (maximum 40° Celsius).
Permit the filter to dry in the air for 24
hours and insert it again only when it
is completely dry.
Place the filter again and press it back
firmly.
Place the cover again.
Tighten the closure of the exhaust air
cover by turning anti-clockwise (see
Fig. F5).
Clean the motor protection filter
Check the dual motor protection filter (27)
every time you empty the dust container,
at the latest, however, every three to six
months.
If you find some dirt, clean the
dual motor protection filter as follows:
Push the release button (18) to the
right (see Fig. E1).
Remove the cover (19) (see Fig. E2).
Pull the filter housing out and remove
the filter (see Fig. E3).
Use a moist cloth to clean the filter
housing.
Clean the filter and the filter housing
by beating out over a rubbish bin. The
filter can be rinsed with water (maxi
-
mum 40° Celsius).
Place the filter in the filter housing.
When the filter is damaged, use a new
filter (see Fig. E4).
Push the filter housing into the appli
-
ance.
Place the cover (19) at the top first
and then turn down until it snaps into
place.
Storage
If you do not intend to use the appliance
for a longer period of time, clean it as
described in the chapter
Cleaning and
maintenance
.
Store the appliance and all accessory
parts in a dry, clean and frost-free place,
in which it is protected against direct sun-
light.
