Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!

The mains plug is not inserted
correctly in the socket.
Insert the mains plug.
The socket is defective.
Try another
socket.
No mains voltage is present.
Check the fuse of the mains
connection.

The fuse in the fuse
box is triggered.
Too many devices connected
to the same circuit.
Reduce the number of devices
in the circuit.

removed from the device in
between times?
Check whether the screws are

Are the brushes being blocked
by an object?
Switch off the device, pull out
the mains plug and remove
the blockage.
Shoe wax is
running out of the
shoe wax con-
tainer.
There is too much shoe wax in
the shoe wax container.
Do not over

The sphere and spring are
not correctly positioned in the
shoe wax dispenser (
