UniCel® DxH 800 Coulter®

Quality Control

 

Step 

Action 

The frequency of running controls is dependent upon regulatory and laboratory policy 
for quality assurance programs. 

Remove control tube(s) from the refrigerator and warm at AMBIENT TEMPERATURE 
for 10-15 minutes. 

After warming, mix  by hand as follows: 

a.  Roll the tube slowly between the palms of the hands eight times in an upright 

position. 

b.  Invert the tube and slowly roll it between the palms eight times. 
c. Gently invert the tube eight times. 

 

 
 
 
 

Repeat steps 2a to 2c for 6C Controls and Body Fluids Controls. 
For Retic-X, Inpect the tube contents for complete resuspension. If necessary, repeat 
steps 2a to 2c until tube contents are uniformly suspended. 

Do Not Over Mix

DO NOT

 use any type of mechanical mixer. 

To put the instrument Online, select the Start button        from the upper right. 

Process all the controls (except Body Fluid) via cassette presentation. 

After the cassettes are finished, follow the steps for single-tube presentation to 
process the Body Fluid controls. 

Return the control tube(s) to the refrigerator within 30 minutes.
