Electrical Shock Hazard
Electrical shock can cause severe personal
injury or death.

Line voltage neutral shall not be used as a
substitute for ground.
•
Disconnect electrical power before installing or
servicing the burner.
•
Provide ground wiring to the burner, metal
control enclosures and accessories. A
good ground is required to maintain a good
flame sensing.
•
Use a ground fault interrupt if grounding of the
burner can be compromised.
Explosion, Fire and
Asphyxiation Hazard
Do not tamper with, or bypass, safety
controls. If a safety control is not
functioning properly, shut off all main
electrical power and gas supply to the
burner and call a qualified service agency
immediately.
Fire or Explosion Hazard
Can cause severe injury, death, or
property damage.

The control can malfunction if it gets wet, leading
to accumulation of gas.
•
Never install where water can flood, drip or
condense on the control.
•
Never use a control that has been wet - replace it.
Electromagnetic
Interference
Operation of this burner in a residential area may
cause interference, in which case the user will be
required to correct the interference.
