Explanations
Manual/Automatic sliding switch
When the sliding switch is switched to
MAN
, only manual control commands are carried
out (e.g. by pressing the UP, STOP and DOWN buttons).
When the sliding switch is switched to
AUTO
, automatic control commands are carried
out (e.g. switching time, astro evening function,...)
Operating mode
The time and the current operating mode, e.g. HOLIDAY, can be seen on the display.
OK button
When the
OK
button is pressed, the currently displayed values are saved.

The following features can be operated using the

MENU button
By pressing the
MENU
button, you can see an overview of the menu or the operating
mode.
The currently displayed values are
not
saved.
RESET button
When the
RESET
button is pressed (with a ballpoint pen or similar), the TC42 reverts to
the default setting.
Exception: menu levels of function, language and city.
Time/date
TIME/DATE
This menu is used to set the time and the date.
