Start-up Guide
The CTI 100.DIO8.WLAN devices communicate with the com.tom
PORTAL via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The communication mechanism has
a low data volume and can be integrated easily in existing network
infrastructures.
The device may be put into service and
operated by qualified personnel only.
The device is designed for an installation on a
grounded 35 mm DIN rail in dry rooms.
The power supply of the device must be a
grounded circuit PELV (connection between
functional earth and ground). The power
supply must be a limited power source ac-
cording to the EN60950-1 chap. 2.5 or must
be provided with an anti-surge fuse of 2 A.
Never use the device in areas where the operation of wireless
equipment is prohibited. The adherence of the protection against
the lightning norm VDE V 0185 is mandatory when
antenna outside. The E.M.C lightning zone concept must be co
sidered. The device must be deactivated while working with the
antenna.
