3. Lay the string lights, for example, around a bush or shrub. Make sure that the
lights are not immersed in water (e.g., garden pond).
4. The string light is switched on in the "ON" mode (continuous light). The string
lights will flash continuously. If you press the switch again, the string lights will be
switched off again ("OFF" mode).
5. Replacing the batteries (maintenance)
If the batteries are empty, they need to be replaced.

Open the battery compartment and remove the batteries.

Insert new batteries into the battery compartment. Always pay attention to
the correct polarity of the contacts.

Then close the battery compartment.
Note: Make sure that you do not use 1.2V rechargeable batteries, otherwise the
intensity of the string lights may not be sufficient.
6. Cleaning
Make sure that the solar unit is always clean and not dirty. Use only a soft cloth and
never use any aggressive cleaning agents which could damage the surface.
7. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never try to open the device to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with
the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. Protect it from high humidity,
water and snow. Keep the device away from high temperatures. Do not expose
the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could
damage the electronic components. Check the device for any damage before using
it. The device should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged
in some other manner.
