10. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
• It is advised to wash removable parts by hand: bowl, basket, lids, mixing cover, seals, etc. These
elements are also dishwasher safe. Prolonged use of a dishwasher may cause the parts to age more
quickly.
• To clean the blade and its seal, follow the assembly and dismantling instructions:
To clean it, it is advised to:
- Wash it immediately after use
- Avoid cleaning it in a dishwasher
- Dry the blade after washing (do not leave the blade to dry)
- Store dry
- In the event of the appearance of stains: soak it in vinegar for 5 mins and rub with a slightly abrasive
sponge. Rinse well and dry afterwards.
• To dismantle the lid and the lid’s seal:
• Clean the body of the appliance with a damp sponge and washing-up liquid.
• Never put food or fruit juice in the tank, this will damage the stainless steel tank.
• If you use the bowl to fill the water tank, make sure that it is perfectly clean with no leftover food or
juice inside.
• Wash and rinse the tank regularly. Certain types of water and certain uses may increase limescale
deposits in the tank. A poorly maintained tank may severely damage the stainless steel.
11. DESCALING
• Recommended about every 50 cooking cycles.
• Only use spirit vinegar or the BÉABA
®
cleaning product for Babycook

Note:
The Sabatier quality blade, made in France, is composed of a touch of specific steel used for chef’s
knives, namely a very hard stainless steel that has been finely sharpened. Therefore, the blade is very
sharp, ensuring high-quality and precise mixing.
