SYMPTOM 

PROBABLE CAUSE 

CORRECTIVE ACTION 

The door will not open and 
no red LED lights up. 

The sensor power is off. 

Check the wiring and the power supply. 

The sensor "sees" the door moving. 

Increase the tilt angle and/or reduce the sensitivity. 

The door opens and closes 
constantly. 

When closing the door creates vibrations 
picked up by the sensor. 

Ensure that the sensor is correctly fixed. 
If the rejection mode is set at level 1, set this parameter to 
level 2. 
Reduce the sensitivity. 
Switch to unidirectional mode. 

The sensor will not unlock 
when access code is 
entered. 

Improper access code being entered. 

Cut and restore power supply. No access code is required 
to unlock during the first minute after powering. Press on 
“unlock”, then on “lock” and introduce a new access code. 

Batteries in the remote control are weak 
or installed improperly. 
 

Check the batteries insertion. 
Change the batteries. 

The sensor does not 
respond to the remote 
control. 

Remote control is badly pointed.

Do not leave problems unresolved. If a satisfactory solution cannot be achieved after troubleshooting a 
problem, please call B.E.A., Inc.  If you must wait for the following workday to call B.E.A., leave the door 
inoperable until satisfactory repairs can be made.   Never sacrifice the safe operation of the automatic door 
or gate for an incomplete solution.
