ESCRIPTION
The front panel consists of a 80 character liquid crystal display (LCD), configured in
two rows of 40 characters, and three control buttons, labelled UP, DOWN and
ENTER.
The keypad allows the user to navigate through the system management menus, view
statistical information, configure parameters and cause the Marlin to perform specific
actions.
The normal power up sequence that will be displayed on the front panel is:

At this stage the Marlin will start loading its operational software. The display will vary
depending on whether the router or bridge software is installed. The router software,
once initialised, will cause the display to cycle between the system details and the
status of configured ports. The bridge software, once initialised, will cause the MAC
address to be displayed for the first 10 seconds. Subsequently, the display will cycle
between the system details and the status of configured ports.
