16.4 HORIZONTAL SEPARATE FLUE INSTALLATION EXAMPLES
IMPORTANT
-
Make sure there is a minimum downward slope towards the outside of 1 cm per metre of duct length.
If the condensate collection kit is installed, the discharge duct must slope down towards the boiler.

N.B.:
For the
C52
type, do not fit the flue and air duct terminals on opposite walls of the building. The air duct (for hori-
zontal flues) must have a maximum length of 10 metres (6 m for model 140 Fi).
If the discharge duct is longer than 6 metres, install the condensate collection kit, supplied as an accessory, near the boiler.
IMPORTANT:
if fitting a single flue duct, make sure it is adequately insulated (e.g.: with glass wool) wherever the duct
passes through building walls.
