CHANGING COMPONENTS - Page 31

MANUAL CONTROL MODELS

Remove the control knob.

Remove the screw holding the valve cover to the controls
mounting bracket and remove the cover.

Disconnect the electrical connections from the valve.

Remove the two screws holding the valve to the controls
mounting bracket adjacent to the union nut and tailpiece.

Undo the pilot feed pipe nut and thermocouple from the
valve.

Remove the three screws holding the burner feed pipe to the
gas valve, being careful not to lose the “O” ring seal.

Remove the valve from the controls mounting bracket.

Remove the tailpiece and union nut from the original valve
and fit to the new one.

Reassemble in reverse order.
