On request, you can obtain a spacer to cover the gap between the
hood and the wall behind it (Fig. 7, below).
1.
When positioning the hood on the wall unit, mark the
position of the two slots ‘M’ for blocking the spacer.
2.
Using a 6mm diameter drill bit, make holes in the marks
you noted on the wall.
3.
Insert rawlplugs in the holes.
4.
Work screws into the plugs partway.
5.
After you have assembled the hood, secure the spacer to
the rear wall, tightening the screws you have just inserted
the rest of the way in (see Fig. 7).

Note that you can also have a discharge opening at the rear
of the cooker hood that has a diameter of 100mm. In this
case, the top opening must be closed with the cap provided.
