
Connecting to external ducting
Important: To get the optimum performance from your appliance,
150mm ducting should be used.
8) Connect a 150 mm ducting hose to
the opening at the top of the
motor/hood. (Please note that the
ducting hose is not supplied with the
appliance).

If you choose to use 125mm ducting,
then please fit the reducer adaptor
(supplied).
o
The other end of the ducting hose should be connected to a
discharge outlet that is suitable for cooking vapours. It should
have a cross section of at least 150 cm².
o
The maximum distance between the coupling and your discharge
outlet should be 3 metres, with one 90 degree bend. For each
additional 90 degree bend, the maximum distance is reduced by
a further metre.
NOTE: If the ducting is not obscured then extraction and noise
levels will be significantly improved.
