questions, please contact your medical advisor or medical retailer.
Intended use
The ManuRhizoLoc is an anatomically contoured stabilizing orthosis for the
lower arm, wrist and thumb. The ManuRhizoLoc stabilizes and, if necessary,
immobilizes the wrist, preventing undesired movements over the whole wrist
area. This is made possible by two lateral stay and a central stay. Undesired
movements in the area of the thumb joint are also minimized. A partial
immobilization of the thumb basal joint and thumb carpometacarpal joint is
achieved, whereby the mobility of the end joint is not limited.
With its stabilizing effect, the ManuRhizoLoc helps prevent undesired
movements and relieve pain.
Indications
• pre-operative
• irritation in the wrist or in the thumb basal joint and thumb
carpometacarpal joint (post-traumatic and post-operative)
• severe carpometacarpal joint arthrosis
